Dottie danced at the USO during WWII to The White Cliffs of Dover, her favorite song.
And Let The Rest Of The World GoBy is another favorite that Dottie still dances to.

Sandi, Dottie's sister, remembers dancing in high school in Jackson, Mississippi, at the "Sock Hops" to You Send Me, and I remember very well both of their songs:-)

Bundleojoy says "My sweetie and I used to and still do dance the night away to The Same Moon by Phil Collins." Randy remembers Blue Velvet relating to the best time in his life. I remember it well also.

Leah danced to "Since I Don't Have You" by Jimmy Beaumont & The Skyliners at the Stardust Ballroom in Long Beach, Calif., which has been gone for a long time. Won't say who she danced with...but we all know, don't we...all time crush:-) We all have one, Leah.

Audrey says Harbor Lights was playing the first time she danced with a boy, and has been her favorite ever since.
Louanne says that You Don't Know Me by Jerry Veil "Is our favorite song."
John has fond memories of Love Letters In The Sand at Jones Beach, L.I.

Cher says "My first real steady sang this to me as a make up song, "To know you is to love love love you ...and i do!" I melted!!!;-)
When Iris and Sy hear Moonlight Serenade they can't wait to get out on the dance floor.
She says Second Time Around is so true, because it is lovlier the second time around.
Kathy says "This song was given to me once Three Times A Lady by the only true love I have ever known."
Sandra met future hubby in Cape Cod when he was in the service and danced to Greenfields by The Brothers Four, and when he went to Vietnam, she played it always.

Peg and Tom danced to It Had To Be You in their courting days and later married.
Fond memories of when hubby, now deceased, sang Peg O' My Heart to me.
Fay remembers on the radio Can't Smile Without You on a Xmas eve with family in car. Makes her miss Him every day.

Dan & Dottie had "I Swear" played at their wedding and say it's perfect to dance to.

Mary Anne says the song, I`ll Be Seeing You said it all, when my husband, Bob Jones, from Iowa Falls, Iowa,died, so I requested it be sung, at his funeral, along with Unforgetable and The Shadow of Your Smile.

Janice & Don didn't dance to Always or this I'll Be Seeing You but they've always been their songs.
Dee Cooper & (Wayne) say two of their favorite slowdances were Earth Angel and Just The Way You Are which they danced to every anniversary.
Rhoda gets romantic when Waters Of March is played, by Antonio Carlos Jobim.
Bernie and his wife always considered Always their song, by Irving Berlin.
Dottie hates to admit that Glen Miller's String Of Pearls dates her, as it does many of us , but loves hearing it.
When Juanita hears Can't Help Falling In Love With You by Elvis, she always thinks of Keith.
Sandra requests Color My World by Chicago, a song from her past.
Betty S. danced many a mile to In The Mood by Glen Miller.Glen and Alma loved to dance during WWII to I Only Have Eyes For You. Alma has since passed, and is now dancing with the angels.
Tom and Patti danced to Always at their wedding, and also loved to dance to Moonlight In Vermont. And with Tom now gone, Always has even more meaning.
Velma reminisces that Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered "has always been our song."



Delmar proposed to Rosemary on the dance floor at the Campbell House Inn, Lexington, Ky., while dancing to As Time Goes by.
Nowadays Delmar sings How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You , and Rosemary sings At Last to him by Aretha Franklin.
Toni still loves Soldier Boy.
Jude met hubby, Don, while he was in the Service, and their song was "There I've Said It Again" by Vaughn Monroe or Bobby Vinton.
Shirley met the love of her life and danced the first dance to "Strangers In The Night." He's no longer with us, but the memories live on.
Tom and Barbara's wedding song is "If." So it's the most favorite to both.
Dottie has wonderful memories growing up in Wash, D.C. listening to her friend play Malaguena on the piano. "Does anyone else like this music?"

Lou & Charlie remember dancing to No Not Much back in 1956 at John's Luncheonette on Northern Blvd. & 149th St., in Flushing, Long Island, N.Y.



Linda loved Red Sails In The Sunset to dance and romance to.
Audrey still melts when she hears Blue Velvet, reminds her of when she bought a blue velvet dress and danced the night away to that song with her Marine who proposed that night, and she accepted.

Stella says "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" has always been a favorite of mine and my guy.

Jeanne remembers loving to sing "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows to her grandfather.
"Only You" is another favorite of Jeanne's.
But "Bouquet of Roses" is an alltime favorite.
And "Going OUt Of My Head" and "This Magic Moment" are for a special person, with love.
This, "Endless Love" to my lover.

Maggie says "Welcome to My World is the first song I ever danced to with my ex, fell in love and married 2 weeks later. Was told it would never last. Well, guess they were right but over 20 years wasn't too bad.. Anytime I hear it my mind goes back to 1967 and the dance floor of the Maverick in Tucson."


Seneca loves listening to Mony mony and dedicates this song to "Lefty."
